Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $17/hr
Shift: 2nd shift from 3:30pm to 11:30pm Monday thru Friday

What’s a typical day as SMT Operator- Placement? You’ll be:
- Setting up, operating, and maintaining screen printers, glue machines, reflow ovens, SMT placement machines, stencil cleaners, conveyors, and other equipment used in PCB assembly
- Ensuring the daily build plan is met according to production planner requirements
- Interfacing with complex machine hardware and software
- Identifying and reporting defective components and processing non-conforming material
- Performing minor machine adjustments and inspecting own work for accuracy and integrity
- Assisting with new product introduction (NPI), including creating and debugging programs and training new operators
- Maintaining detailed logs, cleanliness of the work area, and accuracy of work-in-process
- Participating in quality teams and training other employees as needed
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Possess 3+ years of experience operating SMT equipment (NPI experience a plus)
- Hold IPC-A-610 Certification and have ESD Training
- Demonstrate knowledge of component identification, nomenclature, and handling (including ESD requirements)
- Have basic computer skills, problem-solving ability, and strong organizational skills
- Can follow written procedures, verbal instructions, and visual aids with attention to detail
- Communicate and work effectively in a team environment, prioritizing and organizing workload efficiently
- Are knowledgeable of ISO9001 and IPC-610 requirements
- Are a US Person as defined in 22 CFR Part 120.15 (U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, those granted asylum or amnesty, as work includes ITAR controlled technical data)
- Are willing to work flexible hours as necessary
