Job Title: Material Specialist
Location: Waterloo, IA (Onsite)
Assignment Length: 12 Months (As a W2 employee of KellyOCG)
Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour
Shift Information: 1st shift, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM with possible overtime
- Overtime may include extended weekday hours or weekend work
- Candidates must be willing to work off-shift hours if needed
- 50% of the time spent working on the shop floor
- Metatarsal safety boots required from day one

Position Overview:
As a Material Specialist, you will work both on the shop floor and in the office to support material flow, track inventory, and collaborate with manufacturing and supply chain teams. You’ll also play a key role in ensuring production runs smoothly and inventory systems remain up to date.
Qualifications:
- 4-year degree in a business-related field highly preferred
- Manufacturing experience is a plus
- Good computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel)
- Open to recent graduates
- Willingness to work off-shift hours as needed
- Ability to spend ~50% of work time on the shop floor
Additional Information:
- This position may involve operating a company-owned Gator on the shop floor after completion of training
- Some travel between Waterloo sites for meetings utilizing a personal vehicle
- Metatarsal protection/safety boots are required from your first day
- Business casual dress code
