Job details
We’re looking for a dedicated entry-level Quality Assurance Inspector to join our 2nd shift team! We’re seeking a detail-oriented individual who is ready to make a real impact. This is a long-term contract role with the potential for permanent.
Pay: $21.00/hour
Work schedule: 2nd shift: 3:45pm – 2:15am Monday -Thursday
- Will work overtime! 8 hours on Friday and a possibility of working Saturdays
- Will train on 1st shift 5:30 AM – 4 PM, Monday- Thursday for 2-3 weeks
Your duties will include:
- Inspecting up to 200 parts per day
- Using calipers and rulers to take visual measurements
- Acceptable quality limit (AQL) testing on batches of products
- Pressure checks and failure testing
- Data entry of measurements into Excel
- Working within a busy manufacturing environment
Qualifications:
- Previous quality assurance experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
- Experience using quality hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, and rulers
- Interest in learning new skills and growing with the company
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Ability to work independently, while also working well with teammates
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent attendance record and punctuality
- Safety shoes required
