Job Title: Hand Solder Technician II
Location: Irvine, CA
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:00–6:00 AM start time, 4/10 schedule (four 10-hour days)
Pay Rate: $21–$23 an hour DOE

Responsibilities
- Perform precision hand soldering of electronic components under a microscope with consistency and accuracy
- Read and interpret blueprints, parts lists, and manufacturing documents (e.g., MAIs, ECOs/ECNs)
- Implement complex engineering changes with minimal supervision
- Ensure all assembled products meet strict quality standards and exceed customer expectations
- Take full ownership of projects from start to finish while collaborating with team members as needed
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of hands-on electronics assembly experience
- Proven skills in soldering and assembly (IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 certifications are a plus)
- Familiarity with ISO 9000 or AS9100 quality systems
- SMT (Surface Mount Technology) experience is a bonus
- Ability to read and write English clearly
- Must pass a hands-on soldering skills test.
Physical and Vision Requirements
- Able to move freely within the work area and occasionally lift up to 30 pounds
- Annual eye exam required due to the precision nature of soldering and inspection work
