Position: Administrative Assistant I (Temporary, 6 Weeks)
Location: Martinez, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–1:00 PM (Possible Tues/Thurs, 25–30 hours/week)
Compensation: $25–$30 per hour
Organization: Childcare/Mental Health Non-Profit
Team Size: 5
About the Role:
Join a small, friendly team as an Administrative Assistant I for a 6-week temporary assignment. You’ll support daily office operations in a casual and collaborative environment, with two small dogs on site. This is a working interview opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reception duties; greet clients and visitors
- Create, format, and edit documents using Apple computers and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Organize and maintain both manual and digital files
- Order office supplies and manage inventory
- Distribute incoming and outgoing mail
- Support the team with additional administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as an administrative assistant or receptionist preferred
- Proficiency with Apple computers and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks
- Comfortable in a casual, pet-friendly office setting
- Team player who enjoys supporting a collaborative environment
