Pay Range: $25.00 – $27.50 per hour (based on experience)

Position Overview
Talley is seeking a Credit Administrator II to support the Credit Department on a temporary basis. This role is responsible for managing customer accounts receivable, collecting balances due, and maintaining consistent customer contact.
Key Responsibilities
- Review the order queue to ensure customer orders are addressed and released in a timely manner
- Manage an assigned credit portfolio
- Review customer account history, payment trends, average days to pay, and credit limits to support order release decisions
- Communicate with Sales regarding customer orders pending credit release
- Monitor weekly past-due aging and 30/60/90-day aging reports
- Systematically contact customers based on past-due status and outstanding balances
- Contact customers via email and phone to discuss account status, schedule follow-ups, and escalate issues to the Credit Supervisor as needed
- Respond to customer inquiries promptly to ensure positive collaboration and accurate resolution of account issues
- Research and resolve disputes and payment variances
- Utilize the Prelude QFE program to resolve disputes
- Code and address disputed invoices daily
- Utilize the Prelude QFE program to resolve disputes
- Update customer accounts with ARI and IDI notes documenting all communications
- Meet weekly with the Credit Supervisor to review accounts 30+ days past due and determine next steps
- Prepare monthly reports on delinquent accounts (60+ days), as defined by the Credit Supervisor
Qualifications & Knowledge
- Minimum 3–5 years of commercial credit and collections experience
- High school diploma required; post-secondary business education preferred
- Strong understanding of commercial credit and collections practices
- Ability to make sound credit decisions based on customer credit history
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills when interacting with customers and internal teams
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
