Job Title: Quality Inspector
Location: Phoenix, AZ 85027
Schedule: 6am–2:30pm (Flexible start time available, but set schedule once determined)
Hours: 40 hours per week
Pay Rate: $18-$20 per hour
Type: Temporary 
 


Position Summary

The Quality Inspector will support the administration of quality functions to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, MDSAP, FDA 21 CFR Part 820/211, EU MDR and other applicable regulatory standards. This position assists manufacturing and servicing operations by performing inspections of incoming components and in-process products, using standard measurement tools. The Quality Inspector will also identify, segregate, and document rejected materials, and participate in Material Review Boards to ensure proper documentation and disposition.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct component and assembly inspections (incoming, in-process, final product) using blueprints and measurement equipment.

  • Perform product testing utilizing various production qualification equipment.

  • Identify, segregate, and document rejected components and materials.

  • Participate in Material Review Boards to review/process non-conformance reports.

  • Enter and retrieve inspection and non-conformance data from local/global systems.

  • Review related quality documentation (DHRs, calibration records).

  • Support local problem-solving activities and identify improvement opportunities.

  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Required Experience & Skills

  • 1-2 years’ experience in a manufacturing or quality environment preferred.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

  • Ability to generate detailed, high-quality documentation.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret written instructions.

  • Good communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to work professionally with others.

  • Ability to analyze and solve technical problems collaboratively.

Additional Information

  • Dress appropriately; steel toe shoes are not required.

  • PPE provided; no handling of chemicals.

  • Candidates should be comfortable interacting with team members and delivering news (such as reworks) professionally.
