Production Mechanic (2nd shift)
Pay Rate: $28.60–$29.85 per hour + 10% shift differential
Schedule:
2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:30PM–10:30PM
Training is on 1st shift for 3-4 weeks: Monday–Friday, 6:30AM–2:30PM
Location: Audubon, PA
Duration: Permanent position with benefits

What’s a typical day as a Production Mechanic? You’ll be:
- Setting up and tearing down production equipment according to approved procedures
- Completing and documenting machine reports in batch records with accuracy
- Conducting preventative maintenance and first-level troubleshooting on production equipment
- Responding to production calls for high-level troubleshooting and escalating to engineering as needed
- Identifying and recommending continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency
- Supporting a team-oriented environment dedicated to quality and safety
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- Possess at least 3 years’ experience as a production mechanic, operator, or set-up technician in a manufacturing environment (required)
- Demonstrate general industrial mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Are experienced in routine equipment maintenance and repair, with a strong knowledge of machines and tools including design, use, repair, and maintenance
- Are familiar with circuit boards, processors, chips, and electronic equipment, and comfortable utilizing computer hardware/software
- Are proficient in the use of hand and power tools, machine tools, and measuring instruments
- (Preferred) Hold a technical or trade school degree
- (Preferred) Have experience in pharmaceutical packaging, electrical wiring and controls, pneumatics, hydraulics, vision inspection, blister forming, bottle filling, or PLC troubleshooting
- (Preferred) Can troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control systems, and have knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and quality control
