Engineering Analyst 
Onsite position : Farmington Hills, MI
Long Term Contract position

Job Responsibilities:

  • Input and maintain bill of material data

  • Conduct audits to ensure accurate parts gross generation and usage relief, as well as vehicle and unit build accuracy

  • Receive, distribute, and incorporate design changes into NNA-Smyrna systems and manufacturing

  • Analyze engineering changes and negotiate adoption timing with external vendors; coordinate timing with internal departments

  • Audit actual part application to verify it meets design intent

  • Prepare and publish new model assumption packages for all NNA-Smyrna activities

  • Receive and distribute new model vehicle specification requests to relevant NNA-Smyrna activities

  • Track vendor selection for new part programs and determine off-tool timing and supplier readiness per corporate guidelines

  • Develop trial vehicle master schedule; coordinate trial vehicle requirements from all Nissan departments and affiliates

  • Track and coordinate new parts to ensure delivery and correct usage; monitor trial concerns and implement countermeasures as needed

  • Develop and deliver training curriculum for new parts arrangement analysts

  • Provide training on part application determination to production area managers and process engineers

  • Perform other related duties as necessary

Job Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proficient in G2B software

  • Competent with Microsoft Office products

  • Strong communication and analytical skills

Years of Experience:
2–3 years of directly related professional experience

Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Travel Required:
0–10%
