Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for excellence? We are hiring for a Quality Assurance Technician to work in a leading manufacturing company in Wyoming, NY. In this role, you will be the frontline of our quality control process, ensuring that problems are identified, analyzed, and resolved quickly to maintain our high standards of production.
2nd shift – 4:00pm – 12:00am, Monday – Friday.
Position Responsibilities
- Auditing of materials
- Calibrations plant wide of gauges
- Testing of materials (i.e. internal and external labs)
- Contribution to implementation and maintenance of quality management system
- Evaluates systems, analyzes data, evaluates products and technology and established QC procedures
- Investigates product quality problems and recommends changes or improvements
- ERP Quality responsibility (i.e. specs, deviations, certs, MRB non-conforming material on hold)
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Essential Skills and Experience
- Computer proficiency
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills requiring the ability to resolve conflicting interests and obtain cooperation
- Solid analytical skills
