What’s a typical day as a Human Resources Assistant? You’ll be:
Supporting HR Operations:
-
Processing HR transactions in Workday/HRIS, including new hires, terminations, promotions, salary changes, leave of absence, and benefits updates
-
Maintaining accurate and confidential employee records
-
Assisting with payroll processing and benefits administration (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD, LTD, Wellness programs)
Providing Contact Center & Employee Support:
-
Delivering high-touch customer service via phone, email, and case management systems
-
Supporting employees and managers with HR, payroll, and benefits inquiries
-
Coaching employees on self-service tools and HRIS navigation
-
Documenting cases, resolving issues, and escalating when necessary
Driving Process Excellence:
-
Preparing reports and gathering workforce data
-
Identifying process improvements and reporting trends
-
Participating in ongoing HR policy and systems training
-
Collaborating cross-functionally to ensure consistent HR service delivery
This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:

High school diploma required (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
-
3+ years of HR-related experience
-
Knowledge of HR, payroll, and benefits processes
-
Experience with Workday, PeopleSoft, or other HRIS systems
-
Strong customer service or call center experience (HR shared services a plus)
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-
Strong organizational and analytical skills
-
Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
-
Spanish-speaking skills are a plus
