Location: Attleboro, MA
Salary range: $70,000 – $85,000 per year (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Day Shift – some occasional Saturdays required and ability to be flexible to come in based on Operational needs is important. The shipping department can open as early at 6AM and close as late as 5PM.
Duration: Permanent position with full benefits

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Shipping Manager to oversee and lead daily shipping operations at our Attleboro, MA facility. This role is responsible for ensuring that all customer orders are processed, shipped, and delivered promptly and accurately.
The Shipping Manager will play a vital role in maintaining smooth and efficient shipping processes by coordinating across departments, leading shipping personnel, and ensuring compliance with logistics procedures and regulatory requirements.
This is a Monday–Friday day shift position. The shipping department operates between 6:00 AM and 5:00 PM, and the manager must be flexible to work within this timeframe based on operational needs.
Key Responsibilities

Use software systems to track, prioritize, and route orders

Manage and prepare critical shipping documentation including:

Advanced Shipping Notices (ASN)

Pick slips
-
Bills of lading
-
Domestic and international shipping paperwork

Direct and oversee the flow of packages from preparation through shipment

Inspect labels, barcodes, and completed orders for accuracy

Supervise and lead shipping clerks, order pickers, packers, and other team members

Collaborate with customer service, production, and management teams to optimize workflow

Resolve shipping-related issues and ensure timely delivery

Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations

Report shipping activities, performance metrics, and issues to senior management
Qualifications & Skills
-
2–3+ years of experience as a Shipping Manager in a high-volume manufacturing environment

Strong knowledge of logistics and shipping procedures

Experience with EDI systems and preparing shipping documentation for domestic and international customers

Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel)

Experience with ERP systems, SAP, and QAD
-
Proven ability to direct, train, and evaluate team members

Excellent organizational and communication skills

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

High school diploma required

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field is a plus
