Production Operator
Shift: Monday – Friday | 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Pay Rate: $24.00/hour
Position Summary
The Production Operator is responsible for operating manufacturing equipment to convert raw materials into finished goods in a safe, efficient, and quality-driven environment. This role ensures products meet required specifications through in-process testing, accurate documentation, and proactive troubleshooting to maintain optimal production levels.
Key Responsibilities

Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment according to established procedures and safety standards.

Convert raw materials into finished products while maintaining production efficiency and quality.

Perform in-process quality checks (e.g., hardness, weight, variation, pH, moisture content) to ensure specifications are met.

Accurately document materials used, work completed, and production data.

Maintain inventory records for raw materials and work-in-process.

Identify equipment malfunctions or product defects and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.

Follow blueprints, subassembly layouts, and schematics as required.

Maintain production logs and track orders received and completed.

Coordinate with materials planning, production, and maintenance teams to support production schedules.

Request materials based on production needs and delivery timelines.
Qualifications

Minimum 1+ year of manufacturing or production experience preferred.

Experience operating production or processing equipment.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.

Strong attention to detail and quality control.

Basic computer and documentation skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Willingness to work graveyard shift consistently.
Work Environment & Scope

Duties are varied and semi-routine within a structured manufacturing environment.

May require recognizing when deviations from standard procedures are necessary and escalating appropriately.

Fast-paced production setting with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.
