Carton Clamp Operator – Sit Down Propane (Night Shift)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 PM to 2:30 AM
Pay: $20/hr during temporary assignment. Earn $21/hr once hired full-time.
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Carton Clamp Operator with sit-down propane forklift experience for our night shift team. In this role, you will safely operate a sit-down propane forklift with a carton clamp attachment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. You may also perform order filler and checker duties, ensuring accuracy and safety at all times.
Responsibilities:

  • Operate a sit-down propane forklift with a carton clamp to stack and store merchandise in designated areas

  • Safely unload inbound shipments and transfer products to storage locations

  • Pull and prepare products for shipment

  • Load and ship products accurately

  • Pick orders to meet customer service standards

  • Move products from staging/storage to trailers

  • Operate all equipment safely and efficiently, following prescribed methods

  • Maintain records and reports for inventory control and security

  • Participate in physical inventories and cycle counts

  • Ensure proper stock rotation

  • Use RF scanning equipment to maintain inventory accuracy

  • Report safety concerns promptly to management

  • Handle inventory discrepancies and assist in resolution

  • Complete equipment inspection forms prior to operation

  • Assist with Excel tasks and general computer work

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED preferred

  • Sit-down propane carton clamp forklift experience required

  • At least 3 months of forklift or warehouse equipment experience

  • Able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours and lift/pull up to 50 lbs without restrictions

  • Able to bend, stretch, reach above/below waist frequently

  • Comfortable working in varied warehouse conditions (noise, lighting, temperature)

  • Able to access all building areas

  • Willing to work night shifts, irregular/extended hours (including weekends/holidays as needed)

  • Must be able to obtain forklift certification

  • Strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and excellent customer service skills

  • Basic safety knowledge, computer skills, and Excel proficiency
