Kelly Services is looking for a Procurement Sourcing Manager to join a dynamic team in Cleveland, Ohio. This position offers the opportunity to work onsite initially for training, transitioning to a hybrid work arrangement once fully hired. The role is temp-to-hire, with potential for long-term career growth.

Position Objective:
The Procurement Sourcing Manager will support and/or manage sourcing activities for various categories and work closely with business leaders to implement strategies that align with company goals. This position involves managing supplier relationships, conducting negotiations, and driving cost-effective sourcing strategies.

 


Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing Strategy & Implementation (20%): Assist in developing and executing sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives, focusing on technology needs and supply chain optimization.

  • Major Negotiations & Engagements (20%): Lead major negotiations and sourcing projects (e.g., e-sourcing, RFP/RFQ, project management) with a focus on delivering annual savings through strategic negotiations and managing a $20 million annual spend.

  • Supplier Management (15%): Review and recommend best-in-class suppliers, manage supplier negotiations, and handle vendor contract lifecycle management, ensuring terms align with company goals.

  • Contract Review & Negotiations (10%): Review contracts to ensure compliance, assist in contract negotiations, and collaborate with legal teams to ensure favorable terms.

  • Support & Training (10%): Serve as a resource for delegated buyers and senior procurement staff, offering guidance and expertise in sourcing, data analysis, and strategic direction.

  • Documentation & Compliance (10%): Maintain compliance with internal audit procedures and best practices. Ensure documentation is accurate and complete.

  • Supplier & Industry Analysis (10%): Conduct market analysis, monitor supplier performance, and develop strategies to drive continuous improvement and address emerging opportunities.

 


Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5 to 10 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or contract management.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree preferred.

Skills:

    • Strong analytical and technical skills.

    • Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership abilities.

    • Experience with ERP systems (PeopleSoft or similar preferred).

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.).

    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
