Customer Service/Fleet Maintenance Specialist
Schedule-Sunday-Thursday 10pm-6:30am
Job Summary:
A Fleet Maintenance Specialist is needed to assist drivers experiencing equipment issues and breakdowns. The Fleet Maintenance Specialist will determine the best solution to move forward and coordinate diagnostics and repairs for equipment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Respond to incoming calls and messages from drivers experiencing truck and trailer issues.
- Provide guidance and temporary solutions to drivers in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Diagnose equipment breakdowns and identify the best way to proceed.
- Review detailed repair estimates.
- Create and update work orders regarding the status of repairs and vendors.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Mechanical knowledge of truck and trailer maintenance procedures.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to communicate repair information clearly to drivers.
- Familiarity with DOT regulations.
- Organizational skills for managing work orders and coordinating repairs.
- Problem-solving mindset.
