Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer with strong industrial controls experience to design, implement, and support automation projects. You will have a hands-on role from concept through commissioning, collaborating with engineering and production teams to deliver robust solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical control systems, including PLC, HMI, and SCADA programming
- Create detailed electrical schematics and panel layouts using AutoCAD or equivalent software
- Specify, select, and integrate sensors, actuators, and control hardware
- Troubleshoot control system issues during build, test, and commissioning phases
- Lead or support project execution, including documentation, FAT, and onsite startup
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations (NFPA, NEC, UL, etc.)
- Provide technical support and training to clients and internal staff
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in industrial controls engineering
- Proficiency with PLC platforms (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider)
- Experience with HMI/SCADA software and networked control systems
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, panel design, and wiring practices
- Demonstrated problem-solving and project management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
