We’re seeking a Material Handler to work at a premier manufacturing client in Fremont, CA.
Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $20.00–$23.00/hr
Shifts:
1st and 2nd shift openings available
- 1st shift: 7:00am – 3:30pm
- 2nd shift: 3:00pm – 11:30pm
What’s a typical day as Material Handler? You’ll be:
- Collecting, sorting, and processing cardboard and other recyclable materials
- Moving recycling items from bins to designated containers
- Loading and offloading pallets from trailers
- Transporting materials between production, warehouse, and other areas
- Unpacking and packaging production materials
- Examining items for defects, wear, or physical damage
- Performing any additional assigned tasks
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Can regularly lift, push, and move up to 50 lbs
- Are able to stand for prolonged periods and work on ladders
- Can operate a pallet jack or electric pallet jack (experience preferred)
- Have related material handling or warehouse experience (preferred, but not required)
- Are detail-oriented with strong communication skills and a solid work ethic
- Must have a current resume
