Position: Electronic and Mechanical Assembly Operator
Pay Rate: $23.10/hr
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 2:15pm–12:45am
Training: All 2nd and 3rd shift roles require 4 weeks of training on 1st shift
Position Summary:
As an Assembly & Test Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and testing electronic and mechanical parts by following detailed work instructions and engineering drawings. This position calls for strong attention to detail, excellent hand-eye coordination, a willingness to maintain cleanliness standards, and a mindset rooted in continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble components in accordance with standardized work instructions and top/sub-level drawings.
- Conduct testing of electronic and mechanical parts requiring good hand-eye coordination.
- Read, comprehend, and follow manufacturing drawings and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Inspect electronics parts and assemblies for quality assurance.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area in line with 5S principles and company standards.
- Utilize microscopes and computers as part of the assembly and inspection process.
- Adhere to established safety protocols at all times.
- Demonstrate a continuous improvement attitude in all work activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Leader.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Familiarity with assembly and testing processes for electronic/mechanical components.
- Comfortable using microscopes and computers.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of cleanliness.
- Good hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and SOPs.
- Prior manufacturing or assembly experience preferred, but not required.
- Commitment to safety and teamwork.
