Location: Foxborough
Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay Range: $60,000 – $70,000 per year

Position Overview

The Production Supervisor will report directly to and support the Corporate Production Manager while overseeing all aspects of the day-to-day manufacturing process. This role is responsible for ensuring ISO-compliant, cost-effective production while maintaining high quality and on-time delivery standards.

We are seeking a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment and is passionate about driving team performance and operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

  • Direct supervision, coaching, counseling, and mentoring of all Production employees


  • Supervise ISO-compliant and cost-effective manufacturing of specific products and sub-assemblies


  • Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within and between departments according to the production schedule


  • Maintain quality standards by inspecting and testing in-process and finished products to ensure conformance with specifications and codes


  • Develop production schedules and determine manpower requirements


  • Ensure employee compliance with company policies and procedures


  • Collaborate with Purchasing, Warehouse, Sales, NPI, Tooling, Packing, and Shipping teams to ensure overall assembly efficiency


  • Manage pull-ins and expedite parts to meet production timelines and on-time delivery requirements


  • Compile reports on work progress, inventory levels, costs, and production challenges


Skills & Competencies

  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, diagrams, wire lists, and assembly instructions


  • Review production schedules, staffing tables, and material requirements to determine priorities


  • Requisition and maintain necessary production materials and supplies


  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills


  • High attention to detail and accuracy


  • Positive, professional, and personable leadership style


Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience


  • Minimum 3 years of cable harness assembly experience (Huge plus!)


  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience


  • Strong understanding of IPC/WHMA-A-620, ISO 9001, and ISO 13485 standards


  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing techniques preferred


  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
