Quality Inspector | Manufacturing | Inspection & Measurement Tools

Are you a detail-oriented Quality Technician who takes pride in ensuring products meet exact specifications? We’re hiring a Quality Technician / Quality Inspector for our 2nd shift manufacturing team in Lima, NY.

In this role, you’ll help ensure every product meets form, fit, and functional requirements before shipment. If you have experience with calipers, inspection tools, and manufacturing quality standards, this is a great opportunity to grow your career in a stable, team-oriented environment.


Pay & Schedule

  • $21–$23 per hour


  • Full-Time


  • Second Shift (consistent schedule)


  • Overtime available as needed


What You’ll Do

As a Quality Technician, you will:

  • Monitor product quality throughout production


  • Perform in-process and final inspections


  • Use measurement tools including:

    • Tape measures


    • Calipers


    • Go/No-Go gauges



  • Read and follow inspection instructions, job travelers, and specification sheets


  • Identify nonconforming products and document corrective actions


  • Re-inspect products after repair or rework


  • Enter inspection data into the computer system prior to shipment


  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace


  • Follow all safety policies and procedures


  • Support continuous improvement initiatives


  • Collaborate with production and operations teams


What We’re Looking For

Education

  • High school diploma or GED (required)

Experience

  • 3-5 Years experience in manufacturing inspection or quality control


  • Working knowledge of standard inspection techniques

Skills

  • Strong attention to detail


  • Comfortable working in English and Metric measurement systems


  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic (integers, decimals, units of measure)


  • Experience using calipers and measurement tools


  • Clear written and verbal communication skills


  • Team-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving ability


Physical Requirements

  • Lift up to 50 lbs


  • Occasional overhead lifting


  • Stand for extended periods during shift
