Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $22.00/hour
Shift:
1st shift: Regular Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, 40 hours per week
Training Period: Approximately 2 weeks on a 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM schedule

What’s a typical day as Shipper? You’ll be:
- Preparing orders for shipment to customers using pick lists, printing labels, wrapping and strapping pallets/cartons, and following order-specific packing instructions
- Coordinating with Customer Service to ensure proper handling of products and communicating any shipment issues
- Handling shipping transactions with secure and common carriers according to security standards
- Restacking and repackaging pallets and cartons as needed from other sites
- Prepping cardbodies from sister sites based on production schedule
- Loading and unloading trucks as required
- Providing backup support for the Receiving team and Techno Kitter, including inventorying raw materials, monitoring stock levels, and delivering goods to plant/office
- Performing other duties as assigned
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Are able to attain and maintain a license to operate powered industrial equipment such as forklifts (required)
- Are physically able to perform repetitive lifting, carrying, and packing tasks up to 60 pounds
- Can stand, walk, and occasionally climb stairs throughout your shift
- Are comfortable wearing safety shoes and personal protective equipment as required
- Have previous shipping or warehouse experience (preferred)
- Have prior experience operating a forklift (preferred)
- Are flexible for overtime, including early starts or late finishes
