Pay Rate: $25-28/hour

Kelly Services is excited to partner with a rapidly expanding, full-service electrical construction company seeking a talented Payroll and HR Clerk to join their office team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing union payroll and supporting core HR functions, including onboarding of new employees. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with union payroll and demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills. Job Duties:

  • Follow established procedures to process weekly payroll and employee benefits for 400+ employees.

  • Prepare and process approved personal expense and per diem payments.

  • Maintain accurate vacation records.

  • Process/New Hire Orientation with new hires.

  • Maintain confidential personnel files including but not limited to employee information in ADP, Acumatica and hard copy files.

  • Coordinate with Risk/Safety to order and review background checks.

  • Send out weekly reports as required.

  • Organize and compose office correspondence, financial and other reports as requested.

  • Monitor main e-fax and HR fax and respond to necessary HR requests.

  • Respond to TWC inquiries.

  • Administrative duties as needed.

  • Answer phones.

  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of payroll processing

  • Previous experience processing union payroll

  • Strong understanding of payroll calculations

  • Associates degree preferred

  • System experience with ADP, Acumatica is preferred

  • Previous experience working in the Construction industry is a plus
