ASSEMBLY OPERATOR II
Work Location: Katy, Texas 77493
Pay Rate: $20–$22 per hour
Schedule:
-
Monday–Friday: 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM
-
Weekend shifts (based on production needs): Saturday–Sunday 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Position Summary
The Production Assembler supports the production team by efficiently assembling high-quality products in a manufacturing environment. This role requires hands-on soldering experience and the ability to perform precise assembly and basic electrical testing. Candidates with J-STD or IPC soldering certifications are strongly preferred.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Support production schedules to ensure on-time delivery.

Perform cup soldering and lap splicing.

Strip wires and cables accurately.

Assemble products using hand tools and various production equipment.

Perform basic electrical testing.

Read and interpret engineering drawings and job instructions.

Complete detailed and precise assembly work daily.

Navigate job folders within the computer system to report production data.

Follow established procedures and work instructions.

Comply with applicable quality assurance standards.
Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Requirements
The physical demands listed below are representative of those required to successfully perform the job:

Regular use of hands for handling, assembling, and fitting small components.

Frequent standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.

Majority of time spent sitting, standing, and/or walking on the production floor.

Occasional ladder climbing.
-
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.

Strong close vision required for handling and fitting extremely small components.
Required Qualifications
-
High School Diploma or equivalent.
-
Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing and assembly experience.
-
Demonstrated soldering experience.
