Assembly Operator – Technician (Electronics/Mechanical Sensor Component Focus)
Shift/Schedule:
- 3rd Shift | Monday – Friday – 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM
- All hires must be available to train on 1st shift (days) for the first four weeks.
Compensation:
- $24.15 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Precisely assemble electronic and mechanical sensor components, strictly adhering to standardized work instructions and top/sub-level technical drawings.
- Manufacture and assemble electronic, mechanical, or sensor devices requiring advanced technician-level skills and excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Accurately read and interpret manufacturing drawings, schematics, and standard operating procedures (SOP/OMS).
- Employ a continuous improvement mindset; proactively suggest and implement process enhancements.
- Maintain 5S and high cleanliness standards at your work area throughout all shift hours.
- Work safely at all times; consistently follow all safety instructions and established protocols.
- Operate hydraulic presses and a variety of small hand tools as required for sensor assembly and manufacturing.
- Inspect components for functionality and quality; participate in troubleshooting and resolving minor assembly and sensor integration issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and quality teams as necessary.
- Perform varied, semi-routine tasks and adapt to shifting priorities as required by production needs.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in electronics or technology manufacturing, specifically with electronic or mechanical sensor component production, assembly, or testing (required).
- Technician-level aptitude with mechanical sensors and electronic components (preferred: sensor assembly, diagnostics, and integration).
- Proficient in reading and understanding technical drawings, circuit diagrams, and assembly documentation.
- Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to follow detailed instructions consistently and work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
