Kelly® Science & Clinical is currently recruiting for a Quality Control Analyst for a 4-6-month contract opportunity with a global life sciences company at their San Jose, CA facility.   • Tuesday–Saturday, 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM

Are you driven by the pursuit of scientific excellence? As a Quality Control (QC) Analyst at our cutting-edge biotechnology facility in San Jose, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of product quality and integrity. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a state-of-the-art, GMP-regulated laboratory, supporting life-changing research and development.
Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the receipt, storage, and shipment of critical samples for analysis

  • Contribute to seamless lab operations through cleaning, organizing, and implementing 5S best practices

  • Prepare and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accurate test results

  • Maintain meticulous documentation, reviewing data and managing logbooks for compliance

  • Oversee reagent inventory and ordering, supporting uninterrupted lab workflow

  • Participate in method verification and process improvement activities

  • Assist with document review and revisions to drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or a related field

  • Minimum 1 year of quality control experience within a GMP-regulated laboratory

  • Proven expertise in laboratory equipment setup, maintenance, and calibration

  • Exceptional documentation and communication abilities

  • A collaborative team player who adapts quickly and learns new processes efficiently

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite

Preferred:

  • Practical knowledge of cell-based assays such as flow cytometry, nucleic acid extraction, qPCR, ELISA, or SDS-PAGE
