Job details

Kelly® is seeking a motivated Inventory Management Specialist to join our team supporting a premier client in Paulsboro, NJ. This is an onsite, long-term contract opportunity with strong potential for overtime and professional growth.
Schedule:

  • Evening/Night Shift: Approx. 3 pm to 11 pm (flexibility required; may need to stay longer or come in earlier as needed; overtime available and expected)

  • May occasionally be assigned to 1st shift as business needs dictate

Pay Rate:

  • Targeted at $34.50/hr (Depends on Experience)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and reliable inventory, costing, and accounting information across manufacturing, shipping, receiving, and warehousing.

  • Support daily operational decisions by ensuring inventory data is timely, complete, and consistent with company controls.

  • Act as a key liaison between production and financial/accounting teams for all material movement, ensuring transactions are properly recorded and reconciled.

  • Uphold compliance with corporate inventory control standards, internal controls, and audit requirements.

  • Support and promote safety, health, environmental compliance, and site security initiatives.

  • Continuously look for process improvement opportunities that enhance inventory accuracy and operational effectiveness.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

  • SAP proficiency strongly preferred (inventory management modules, transaction posting, system-to-physical variance validation).

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, large dataset analysis, drawing actionable insights).

  • Strong analytical mindset with experience investigating discrepancies and driving reconciliations across departments.

  • Detail oriented and process-focused with proven ability to track materials, address control gaps, and support process improvements.

  • Experience working cross-functionally with production, accounting, and other operational departments.
