  • Shift: 2nd Shift 2:00 PM -  12:30 AM


  • Employment Type: Contract- 48 Months


  • Work Setup: Onsite


What’s a typical day as a Avionics/Elec Tech III? You will:

  • Perform operational and functional testing of avionics/electronic aircraft systems to ensure a defect-free aircraft.


  • Troubleshoot and repair system discrepancies with minimal schedule impact.


  • Install and functionally test electrical/avionics components per engineering specifications and maintenance manuals.


  • Repair or replace defective wiring and components using approved techniques such as splicing, soldering, and pinning.


  • Set up and operate test equipment to conduct performance and reliability evaluations.


  • Oversee compliance with engineering changes and modifications.


  • Pre-inspect work prior to final inspection to reduce rework and improve efficiency.


  • Maintain accurate daily logs and documentation for all aircraft work performed.


  • Enforce FOD, tool control, 5-S programs, and safety regulations.


  • Support aircraft certification, final phase testing, and assist with flight tests as required.


This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.


  • Five (5) years of experience in an avionics/electrical career field.


  • Two (2) years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics may offset two (2) years of required experience.


  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams.


  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to adapt to sudden schedule changes.
