Kelly Engineering is seeking a dynamic Outside Sales Engineer to join our client’s Power Team.

This outside sales role is ideal for professionals with an electrical engineering background who are passionate about combining technical expertise with customer engagement. In this pivotal role, you’ll be the technical expert guiding clients through complex bid projects, providing tailored power solutions, and supporting them from initial consultation to project completion. Targeted overall compensation range: $100,000 – $150,000

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Possesses a “hunter” sales mentality with a proactive approach to identifying and securing new business opportunities

  • Previous experience in technical sales or bid response preparation

  • Solid understanding of electrical systems within data centers

  • Product and application knowledge of UPS and power distribution systems

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

  • A team player passionate about building lasting client relationships

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.

  • Willingness to travel as needed to project sites in Georgia
