Role Focus:
The primary responsibility of these roles is to provide Quality Control (QC) oversight at off-site repair shops, specifically supporting valve repair activities. Technicians are not stationed within the plant during turnarounds, but instead work at external repair locations.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Travel to designated off-site repair shops.
- Verify that instrument and valve repair work meets all required standards and specifications.
- Inspect hold points during the valve repair process to ensure full compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
Top Requirements:
- Strong background in instrumentation or valves is required.
- In-depth understanding of valve functions, repair processes, and quality control checkpoints is essential.
