Scaffold Coordinator
Job Duties:
- Serve as the primary contact for all daily maintenance scaffold activities.
- Report daily work progress to facilitate timely adjustments to the work schedule as needed.
- Ensure contractors have access to relevant policies and procedures.
- Review the next day’s schedule in advance to assign work appropriately and notify area WACs of upcoming tasks in their areas.
- Confirm jobs are fully prepared and ready for scaffold contractors to begin work.
- Coordinate, follow up, and report on the progress of all scheduled, priority, and emergency (E-job) scaffolding tasks assigned to area WACs (Scaffold Coordinator will oversee 100% of scaffolding planning in P6).
- Assign resources to jobs outside the daily schedule according to site priorities.
- Assist in resource allocation, including communication and coordination among multiple area WACs to maximize efficiency.
- Ensure all scaffolding work is managed productively and efficiently.
- Validate and approve scaffold modifications and revisions.
- Review and approve additional scaffolding charges (due to delays such as permits, standby time, weather, etc.).
- Ensure the scaffold company updates the scaffold log weekly.
- Review the scaffold log with the site scaffold auditor to identify and address any gaps or findings.
- Review the scaffold log with both the contract company and area WACs to maintain alignment and transparency
