Job Summary:
Join IRCA Group as a Production Operator I and become a vital part of our manufacturing team! You’ll have the opportunity to master multiple production processes, seeing products transform from raw ingredients to high-quality finished goods. We offer hands-on training and the chance to expand your skills in mixing, extrusion, polishing, and finishing.
Responsibilities:
- Mixing: Accurately follow manufacturing orders to gather, measure, and weigh ingredients (up to 50 lbs.), blend per specifications, and transfer batches for further processing.
- Extrusion: Process batches using extrusion equipment; monitor product quality to ensure customer specifications are met.
- Polishing: Manage finished product transfer, operate polishing pans, and apply finishing touches using manual or automated methods.
- Finishing: Move and manage products between processes, ensuring consistent quality and efficient workflow.
- Utilize hand-held tools such as RF scanners, hand trucks, and sifting screeners.
Requirements:
- One or more years of recent manufacturing experience (mixing, extrusion, batching, polishing, or finishing preferred).
- Physical ability to occasionally lift/move up to 56 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Strong English and math skills.
- Ability to read, write, and interpret documents (safety rules, operating instructions, manuals, shipping documents, etc.).
- Willingness to work overtime and occasional Saturdays.
- We will train candidates who are eager to learn—even if they don’t have all the required skills!
