?? What’s a typical day as a Production Technician I? You will:

  • Set up and operate aseptic filling equipment, including parts washer, component sterilizer, vial washer, dehydrogenation tunnel, filling machine, isolator, capping machine, lyophilizes, transfer carts, and tray-off systems.


  • Perform equipment setup and basic operational functions for component preparation, filling line, lyophilization, and tray-off processes in accordance with standard operating procedures.


  • Conduct routine housekeeping of manufacturing areas, including daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning of floors, walls, ceilings, and equipment.


  • Complete equipment and room cleaning, line clearance, and batch pre- and post-production clearance activities to maintain compliance and sterility standards.


  • Restock production supplies and gowning materials and perform additional tasks as assigned by the Supervisor or Group Leader to support manufacturing operations.


This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:

  • Strong hands-on mechanical aptitude with the ability to use tools such as wrenches, Allen keys, and screwdrivers to set up, adjust, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment.


  • Proficient in computer applications and Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems, with the ability to navigate equipment screens, enter data, and complete routine electronic trainings.


  • Demonstrated troubleshooting ability with a loss-elimination mindset; capable of independently identifying equipment issues, determining root cause, and implementing corrective actions before escalating.


  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, confidently responding to alarms and performing basic diagnostic steps to minimize downtime.


  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred (pharmaceutical, medical device, or industrial), or equivalent hands-on mechanical experience such as automotive repair, equipment maintenance, or home improvement projects.

  • High school diploma or GED.
