Job Title: Temp-to-Hire Warehouse Laborer / Forklift Operator
Location: Lenexa, KS
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 4:00 AM to 12:30 PM
Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour
Summary of Key Responsibilities:
- Work Boots Required
- Assemble and fill orders to be shipped to customers or other divisions.
- Load and unload common carrier and company vehicles.
- Assemble customer orders to be shipped via UPS/LTL.
- Process paperwork for shipments, including verifying merchandise, applying postage, filling out BOLs for LTL shipments, following shipping instructions, and insuring shipments when necessary.
- Gather assembled orders in carts, verify quantities/descriptions, and write totals on invoices.
- Pack orders into containers and arrange them on shelves according to truck routes.
- Verify quantities and items shipped against invoices.
- Substitute for other warehouse personnel as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Use Scanner for Warehouse Management System; pick orders and put away materials after receipt.
Qualifications:
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent attendance record required.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
Requirements:
- General knowledge of electrical products.
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers to serve customer needs.
- Basic math skills for accurate task completion.
- Skill in organizing and prioritizing job duties.
- Work boots required.
