Kelly Services is hiring a Shipping Clerk (Heavy Equipment) in Farmington, CT!

If you’re hands-on, organized, and take pride in the quality of your work, this role places you at the final stage of the production process. You’ll coordinate outbound shipments, prepare machines and parts for delivery, and ensure everything is properly packed and ready before it leaves the facility.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform machine teardown operations including disconnecting hoses, cables, and draining fluids

  • Pull accessory parts and prepare shipping boxes for outbound deliveries

  • Operate forklifts and a 20-ton overhead crane to move equipment and materials

  • Process pick lists and shipping documentation using SAP

  • Pack and load machines and parts safely for transport

  • Communicate with supervisors, technicians, and shipping teams to coordinate shipments

  • Troubleshoot shipping issues with internal departments as needed

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping area

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience in shipping, warehouse, or outbound logistics environments

  • Basic mechanical knowledge and comfort working around machinery

  • Experience using ERP systems such as SAP for pick lists or shipping documentation preferred

  • Forklift experience required; crane experience preferred

  • Strong organization skills and attention to paperwork accuracy

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

  • Comfort using basic power tools such as drills, saws, and hammers

  • Self-sufficient work style with the ability to manage daily workflow

Schedule & Pay

  • Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM | Onsite

  • Overtime and occasional Saturdays may be required

  • $20.00–$21.00/hr | Weekly Pay

  • Long-Term Temporary
