Job Title: Senior Accountant Analyst
Location: Irvine, CA
Schedule: Hybrid (2 days in office per week)
Position Type: Full-Time
Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Job Summary
Join our growing accounting team as a Senior Accountant! We are seeking an experienced professional who will take ownership of both General Ledger and Cash Accounting functions. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, demonstrates expert attention to detail, and efficiently manages diverse accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities
General Ledger Accounting (50%):
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts for accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
- Analyze account variances and investigate discrepancies.
- Support preparation of financial statements and reports in compliance with accounting standards.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors as needed.
Cash Accounting (50%):
- Monitor and record daily cash transactions (accounts receivable, accounts payable, international funds transfers).
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
- Collaborate with AP/AR teams for accurate cash accounting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1- 3 years previous experience as Accounting Analyst or similar position
- Proficiency with MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communicator with the ability to work collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA or CMA certification.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) and automation tools.
