Electronics Technician

Location: Onsite – Middletown, PA, 
Schedule: Day Shift | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $30.00/hour

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to support the development and testing of high-speed communication systems. In this role, you will assist in building and validating high-speed test systems, assembling test racks, and creating wiring harnesses and cable assemblies.

You will work closely with a cross-functional team of electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, and operations engineers to support the design, testing, and validation of next-generation connectivity products used in datacenters and wireless infrastructure.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys building, troubleshooting, and testing electronic systems in a lab environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform verification and validation testing of high-speed cable assemblies and related products


  • Assist in building and assembling high-speed test systems and test racks


  • Create and assemble wiring harnesses and cable assemblies


  • Perform rework on small electronic devices, including soldering and de-soldering of active and discrete components on circuit boards


  • Maintain and track lab inventory, including cables, components, and supplies used for development and testing


  • Follow ESD handling procedures and laboratory best practices


  • Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to support product development and testing activities

Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree in Electronics or a related technical field


  • Strong hands-on soldering skills with small electronic components


  • Familiarity with circuit boards and basic electronic circuits


  • Knowledge of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) handling procedures


  • Strong verbal and written communication skills


  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, global environment


  • Self-motivated with the ability to learn quickly and work independently

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Microsoft Excel and Word for documentation and tracking


  • Basic familiarity with Python


  • Exposure to Six Sigma methodologies or strong data analysis skills is a plus
