Plaster Production Worker – Aerospace Manufacturing
? Location: Sumner, WA
? Pay: $21.75/hr
? Shift: 4:30 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday–Thursday
? Overtime: Fridays (regularly scheduled)
About the Role
We are hiring Plaster Production Workers for an aerospace manufacturing facility in Sumner. In this role, you will help manufacture molds used to form composite aerospace parts by following detailed work instructions and production schedules.
This is a hands-on production position ideal for individuals who enjoy working with tools, manufacturing processes, and detailed work.
Open Positions
Plaster – Pit & Demold (3 openings)
Plaster – Prep & Finish (1 opening)
Key Responsibilities
De-mold plaster parts and clean molds to required specifications
Prepare molds for the curing process
Perform light hand sanding and remove excess plaster from molds and work areas
Pour liquid plaster into mandrels to form molds according to standard work instructions
Move molds weighing 10–200 lbs (team lifts required)
Maintain production schedules and report issues or discrepancies to supervisors
Keep work area clean and organized
Qualifications
Experience using basic hand and power tools preferred
Ability to follow detailed work instructions
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Physical & Work Environment
Standing or walking for 8–12 hours per shift
Lifting, pushing, pulling, and bending throughout the shift
Handling objects up to 50 lbs regularly
Exposure to loud noises, equipment, and production materials
Work performed indoors but temperature may vary
PPE is provided to ensure employee safety.
Aerospace Painter – Manufacturing
? Location: Sumner, WA
? Pay: $23.75/hr-$27.75/hr DOE
$23.75/hr (6 months – 1 year experience)
Up to $27.75/hr for highly experienced candidates
? Shift: 1:00 PM – 11:30 PM, Monday–Thursday
? Overtime: Fridays when needed (sometimes mandatory)
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Painter to support aerospace manufacturing operations. This role requires precision, consistency, and experience working in environments such as auto body, collision repair, or aerospace painting.
Responsibilities
Perform precision painting of aerospace components
Follow strict quality and safety standards
Ensure proper surface preparation and finishing
Maintain clean and organized work areas
Meet production targets while maintaining high-quality standards
Requirements
Minimum 6 months of painting experience required
Experience in auto body, collision repair, or aerospace painting preferred
Must know how to properly use and wear a respirator (required during painting tasks)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work overtime on Fridays when required
