Program Manager—Indigent Care Prescription Assistance Program
Location: Savannah, GA
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 9:00am–5:00pm; Friday, 9:00am–12:00pm. Some evenings/weekends required.
Pay: $19.25/hour
Position Overview
Seeking a Program Manager to oversee the Indigent Care Prescription Assistance Program (IC-PAP). The Program Manager is responsible for planning, implementation, and daily management of the IC-PAP, including recruiting clients and marketing the program to agencies serving indigent residents in Chatham County. The Manager will work in collaboration with leadership to develop initiatives that increase program visibility and participation, build and maintain relationships with community stakeholders, and support effective outreach and patient recruitment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a positive, professional attitude and represent the organization in the community.
- Develop, oversee, and promote the IC-PAP and related activities.
- Create and distribute outreach and recruitment materials.
- Collaborate with leadership and community partners on outreach strategy and client recruitment.
- Research and pursue new outreach and recruitment opportunities.
- Participate in strategic planning to increase program capacity.
- Manage patient applications, including income eligibility verification.
- Prepare and submit all required program reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) in alignment with grant and internal requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree OR at least 2 years of relevant experience in social services program management and 1 year providing direct services to indigent populations.
- Experience in program development, recruitment, outreach, and marketing, preferably in a nonprofit or direct service setting.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- General knowledge of computers and data processing, strong computer and organizational skills.
- Strong time management and communication abilities.
- Attention to detail for proofreading, use of local resources, and working with diverse populations.
- Grant management experience preferred.
