Job details
Job Title: Secondary Machine Operator
Job Type: Full-time, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM M-F
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate secondary equipment such as drill presses, mills, tapping machines, CNC, and other presses.
- Inspect and measure parts using various tools to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain production rates and accurately track part counts and work orders.
- Keep work area clean and equipment in good condition.
- Report safety incidents and quality issues immediately to supervisor.
- Cross-train on additional tasks and assist team members as needed.
- Replace worn tools and may use statistical process control techniques.
Requirements:
- Manufacturing experience preferred; high school diploma or equivalent desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
- Basic computer skills.
- Physical ability to move up to 50 lbs and work in an oily environment using required PPE (hearing, slip-resistant shoes, eye protection).
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
