Production Operator

Pay: $24.00 per hour
Shift: Monday – Friday | 6:15 AM – 2:45 PM
Location: Fremont, CA

Position Summary

The Production Operator is responsible for operating manufacturing equipment to convert raw materials into finished products while ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency standards are met. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to standard operating procedures, and the ability to monitor equipment performance throughout the production process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate manufacturing equipment to produce finished products from raw materials in accordance with company procedures and safety guidelines.


  • Monitor production processes and perform in-process quality checks to ensure products meet required specifications.


  • Record and maintain accurate production data, including materials used, production output, and work-in-progress documentation.


  • Perform routine inspections and testing such as hardness, weight, variation, pH, and moisture content as required by production standards.


  • Identify equipment malfunctions or product defects and take appropriate corrective actions or escalate issues when needed.


  • Follow blueprints, assembly instructions, and schematics to ensure proper product configuration.


  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety and quality standards.


  • Collaborate with production, maintenance, and materials teams to support efficient workflow and production schedules.

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.


  • Basic understanding of production equipment operation and troubleshooting.


  • Ability to follow detailed instructions, technical documents, and safety procedures.


  • Strong attention to detail and recordkeeping skills.


  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.


  • Basic math and problem-solving skills.
