Electromechanical Technician – West Palm Beach, FL

Kelly Outsourcing & Consulting Group (KellyOCG), a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc., is currently seeking an Electromechanical Technician at one of our Global clients in West Palm Beach, FL.  This role is a full-time, fully benefitted position.

Title: Electromechanical Technician
Location: West Palm Beach (33410)
Pay: open; plus benefits and PTO
Hours: M-F 8 hour first shift. 6am-3:00pm
Duration: Six month contract with possible extension or direct hire

Job Description: Assemble components, subassemblies and finished electromechanical products using documented procedures and specifications.
Responsibilities: Under limited supervision, general direction and in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws/regulations and company, procedures and guidelines, this position:

  • Assemble and solder components, sub-assemblies, and finished products of moderate complexity as prescribed by drawings and/or procedures.

  • Conduct tests of assembled electromechanical products as prescribed by drawings and/or procedures.

  • Document results of assembly and/or test operations on data sheets and manufacturing records.

  • Diagnose, correct, and verify product originally not meeting specifications.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area. Know and follow all laws and policies that apply to one s job, and maintain the highest levels of professionalism, ethics, and compliance always.

  • Diligently participate in our compliance program-related activities as denoted by your supervisor or our Chief Compliance Officer.

  • Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level. For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable.

  • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.

  • Performs other duties assigned as needed.

Experience and Education:

  • High school diploma or GED and 2-4 years related experience in electromechanical assembly.

  • Computer literate.

  • Ability to read and comprehend engineering drawings and procedures.

  • Ability to provide detailed documentation of work results.

  • Basic math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and computing rate, ratio, and percent.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Certifications/Licenses and Affiliations:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and kneel.

  • The employee may occasionally be required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.

  • The employee may lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with assistance.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

  • While performing the duties of this position, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts, and is exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and vibration.

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
