This position offers valuable training and hands-on experience with enterprise technologies, electronic data interchange standards, and trading partner integrations. It is an excellent opportunity to grow technical and analytical skills within a well established organization.
Location: Austin, MN (onsite)
Contract Length: 3 months with possible extension
Pay Rate: $21.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week; Standard hours: 7:00am–4:00pm or 8:00am–5:00pm
Work from home on Fridays once training is complete and trust is established
The EDI Support Technician will:
- Perform support and maintenance functions to ensure applications meet business requirements in both the legacy and Oracle Cloud environments.
- Receive training to become proficient in AS400 navigation, mainframe navigation, Oracle Cloud navigation, EDI standards, trading partner setup, EDI policies and procedures, and data synchronization practices.
- Troubleshoot and prioritize issues in a fast-paced setting.
- Maintain complete and accurate documentation.
- Serve as a point of contact for both internal and external customers.
Qualifications Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years of post–high school technical education or equivalent experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Ability to learn new systems and processes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with consistent follow-through
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
- Adaptability and willingness to adjust to changing requirements
