This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of experience, or Associate degree plus 5 years of experience in a related field of service (electronics, technical, etc.), or High school degree plus 5-7 years field service experience.

  • Problem solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and exercise independent judgment. 

  • Bilingual: Spanish & Basic English.  Ability to read and comprehend material written in English.

  • Computer literate.

  • Overtime may be required at times. May require to work some holidays and weekends.

  • Willing to travel (inside and outside of the Island).

  • Required to have own vehicle. (Fixed Monthly Car Allowance & Fixed Monthly Cellphone Allowance apply for this position.)

Job summary: Installs, checks out, operates, maintains, repairs, and modifies equipment. Provides guidance and training to customer personnel in establishing operation, maintenance, and inspection procedures and techniques. Analyzes equipment failures to determine cause and recommends corrective action. Advice and assists in effecting design changes to improve equipment efficiency and/or reduce cost of operation. Devises and implements preventive maintenance programs and keeps performance and maintenance records on equipment. Participates in installation planning phase. Assists technologists and/or management in evaluation of device problems, procedural issues, and documentation and quality issues.
