Territory: California, Oregon, Washington | Travel: ~50% | Salary: $90K base + commission
Remote: MUST LIVE IN CALIFORNIA

Are you a technically minded professional ready to drive sales in the pharmaceutical and tablet manufacturing space? We’re seeking a dynamic, consultative Sales Representative to manage and grow our tablet tooling, compression, and encapsulation machine portfolio. You’ll be the go-to expert for tablet manufacturers, helping them solve production challenges while introducing innovative solutions.
What You’ll Do:

  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities in tablet tooling, presses, turret upgrades, and accessories.

  • Analyze customer production issues and provide technical solutions for tooling, machine settings, and product optimization.

  • Partner with production managers, formulation scientists, and procurement officers as a trusted advisor.

  • Conduct on-site and virtual demos, presentations, and training sessions for customers.

  • Strategically plan visits, map out the territory, and optimize travel to maximize customer engagement.

  • Manage existing accounts, cross-sell, and upsell products while supporting inside sales reps.

  • Track competitor activity, new technologies, and industry trends to identify growth opportunities.

  • Maintain accurate CRM records, track sales progress, and forecast revenue.

Who You Are:

  • 2–5+ years in technical B2B sales or industrial machinery, ideally in pharmaceutical or solid dose production.

  • Comfortable discussing mechanical principles, tooling, and manufacturing processes with technical stakeholders.

  • Can map your territory, pre-schedule client visits, and optimize travel efficiently.

  • Not entry-level – you bring experience in consultative selling, account management, or production supervision.

  • Willing to travel extensively (~50%) across CA, OR, and WA.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with tablet press, die, or punch design software (CAD)

  • Background in pharmaceutical manufacturing or formulation

  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Monday.com)

If you’re a technical problem solver with a consultative sales mindset and a passion for the pharmaceutical manufacturing space, this is your opportunity to make a measurable impact. Send your resume to daid740@kellyservices.com For questions, contact Daisy at 562-471-7322.
