Job Title: General Laborer

Location: Onsite
Pay Rate: $25.27 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6 AM – 2 PM
Required: Steel toe shoes; forklift certification is a plus

Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated General Laborer to join our team in manufacturing livestock feed. This role involves various responsibilities, including assisting full-time operators, packing bags, unloading rail cars, loading trucks, and mixing feed. This position requires physical endurance and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general labor tasks, including housekeeping and equipment operation.

  • Operate a forklift and adhere to all safety guidelines.

  • Lift and move materials, frequently lifting up to 50 pounds.

  • Participate in the loading and unloading of materials and truck operations.

  • Follow verbal and written instructions to maintain efficient production.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds repeatedly.

  • Basic math skills for counting and measuring materials.

  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction in both individual and group settings.

  • Ability to operate powered industrial trucks safety and pass required training tests.

  • Willingness to work on feet for extended periods in a fast-paced, sometimes dusty environment.

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with safety protocols and compliance.

  • Basic computer skills for occasional use of company systems.

  • Ability to learn quickly with on-the-job training.
