Supply Chain Manager
Northlake, IL
1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
$125,000 – $135,000 (based on experience)

KELLY is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead supply chain operations at our Northlake, IL manufacturing facility. This role provides leadership across scheduling, planning, procurement, inventory, materials management, and purchasing to ensure efficient operations and high customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader with manufacturing supply chain experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about continuous improvement and operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure raw materials and finished products are delivered to internal and external customers on a timely basis

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams, customers, and suppliers

  • Lead the Supply Chain team to achieve On Time Complete (OTC) performance metrics

  • Oversee scheduling, procurement, materials management, purchasing, and inventory control

  • Foster a continuous improvement culture using Lean principles such as:

    • Kanban / Pull Systems, 5S and Demand segmentation


  • Production wheels

  • Motivate and develop staff to achieve operational goals and improve performance

  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvements, and operational efficiencies

  • Monitor supply chain performance metrics and implement root cause analysis and corrective actions

  • Support and maintain food safety standards and compliance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field

  • 5–10 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain, Materials Management, Logistics, Procurement, or related field within a manufacturing environment

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing

  • APICS certification HIGHLY preferred

  • Lean / Continuous Improvement experience strongly desired

  • Strong ERP system experience

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-energy manufacturing environment
