Laboratory Technician – Protein Analysis
Kelly® Science & Clinical is seeking a Laboratory Technician – Protein Analysis for a contract-to-hire role supporting the Client, an innovative leader in applied proteomics and peptidomics. Pay: $32-35/hour


Schedule: Mon-Fri Day shift


Overview
Our client is an industry?leading organization advancing high?sensitivity protein and peptide biomarker discovery, validation, and assay development. With cutting?edge technologies and a collaborative scientific environment, Our Client supports a diverse portfolio of internal R&D initiatives and external proteomics projects.
In this role, you will contribute to proteomics sample preparation, mass spectrometry workflows, and analytical method development as part of a highly skilled scientific team.


Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process samples for proteomics and mass spectrometric analysis for client and internal research projects.

  • Apply biochemical methods for protein analysis (e.g., photometric assays, gel electrophoresis, HPLC, protein depletion, enzymatic digestion, tissue lysis).

  • Utilize antibody?based methods (immunoprecipitation, antibody labeling, ELISA, MSD).

  • Support development and optimization of new sample prep and processing workflows.

  • Assist with routine laboratory organization and support under GxP requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years laboratory experience.

  • Hands?on experience with protein analytical methods listed above.

  • Experience with mass spectrometry

  • Experience working with animal or human tissue, cells, blood plasma, or cell cultures.

  • Strong attention to scientific accuracy, documentation standards, and quality.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
