Responsilities: 

The AR Specialist would assist with billing our generator service customers for the maintenance, repair, and sales work we perform while also assisting with other accounting duties such as cash application, collections, and back up AP. 

• Invoice customers following approved guidelines ensuring invoices meet customer specific requirements. Ensures billing matches contract terms for maintenance and repair work, following up with appropriate Operations or Sales team members to ensure accurate and timely invoicing.
  

• Process payments received from customers including EFTS, checks, and credit card payments
  

• Act as contact for customers with billing-related questions
  

• Contact and follow-up on customers with unpaid balances, arrange for payment, notify Controller if non-payment seems likely for change in Credit Hold status; enter collection activity in corresponding customer notes section into system
  

• Fill out certified payroll forms for pubic work accounts and provide to supervisor/HR for signature
  

• File/Organize company copies of correspondence, including invoices
  

• Perform other duties and support other team members as required or assigned which may include supporting Accounts Payable functions, performing special projects, and review/analysis work. 

Qualifications: 

• 1 year of relavent work experience

• Ability to communicate with co-workers and personnel in an articulate, courteous and business-like manner at all times.
  

• Ability to convey issues and problems clearly both in writing and orally
