Job Title: Data Entry Clerk
Location: Modesto, CA
Monday – Friday 8AM -4:30PM
Job Description:
The Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for entering data into company systems, organizing information, and transferring data between platforms. This position requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and proficiency with basic Microsoft Excel functions. The ideal candidate is skilled in communication, enjoys working with data, and is not afraid to ask questions to ensure clarity and correctness.
Responsibilities:
- Enter and update data into company systems accurately
- Transfer and organize data across multiple platforms
- Review data for completeness and accuracy
- Organize and file electronic and paper documents as needed
- Use email and web browsers for daily communication and research
- Report discrepancies or data issues to supervisors promptly
- Maintain confidentiality and secure handling of sensitive information
- Assist with other administrative duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Good communication skills; comfortable asking questions and seeking clarification
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficient in basic Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, navigating spreadsheets)
- Strong typing skills and experience with data entry
- Ability to use email and web browsers efficiently
- Reliable and able to follow instructions in a fast-paced environment
